Pacers vs. Jazz: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

New, comments

Both the Pacers and Jazz will be short-handed on Monday night when they play in Salt Lake City.

The Pacers will try to beat the Jazz twice in eight days when the two teams meet at Vivint Smart Home Arena to wrap up the season series.

Last Monday, the Pacers were without Victor Oladipo but rolled past the Jazz 121-94 thanks in large part to 59 points from the bench, including 19 each from Domas Sabonis and Aaron Holiday. Oladipo remains out with right knee soreness so the Pacers will need another player or three to step up and fill the void in order to complete the sweep.

The Jazz played on Sunday evening, altering their lineup while also missing Donovan Mitchell and absolutely blasted the Sacramento Kings on their own floor. Mitchell is nursing a rib contusion and has been ruled out for the game, as well.

The Jazz used a smaller lineup against the Kings, moving power forward Derrick Favors to the bench and adding Jae Crowder to create a more active group around Rudy Gobert. Seems like Quin Snyder would continue rolling with what worked last night since Mitchell is not an option.

The Pacers do have some good injury news with both Myles Turner and Domas Sabonis available to play while working through their respective ankle sprains. Turner missed the Pacers last game against the Spurs on Friday.
