The Pacers host the Utah Jazz for their annual visit to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday night.
The Jazz arrive at the Fieldhouse trying to build on a quality win in Boston on Saturday which level their record at 8-8 after sputtering out of the gate to begin the season. Last season the teams split their season series with each team winning on the other’s home court. Hopefully, that trend won’t continue for the Pacers but they will need to play inspired ball.
Of course, the difficulty of that task increases with Victor Oladipo out to rest his sore knee. Tyreke Evans will slide into Vic’s spot in the starting lineup which will also push rookie Aaron Holiday back into the mix after he lit up the ‘House at closing time on Saturday night.
The Jazz aren’t the Hawks, though, so working short-handed without Oladipo will be a major challenge.
