The Pacers will wrap up their home back-to-back on Saturday night when they host the Atlanta Hawks for the first of four meetings between the teams this season.
The Pacers will also debut their new “City” uniforms in front of the home fans. Victor Oladipo may not be styling the new uni, however after showing up on the injury report this morning, listed as questionable with a sore right knee.
Vic played 30 minutes on Friday night, but leads the team in court time, playing over 34 minutes per game. Hopefully, if Vic is held out on Saturday, the decision is more about managing his minutes for the regular season than anything serious with his knee.
As for the Hawks, rookie Trae Young makes them fun to watch but the team’s injury issues have made the struggle real as they arrive at BLF with a 3-12 record after losing their last six games.
There is mixed news for the Hawks on the injury front, as their second-leading scorer, Taurean Prince is not expected to play, but big men John Collins and Dewayne Dedmon are expected to be available, Collins for the first time this season.
The game also gives the Pacers a chance to deliver Nate McMillan with his 100th win as a Pacers coach. The W would be his 578th career win.
