The Pacers are rested and ready to play the Miami Heat on Friday after four days off at home. At least, they should be ready.
This is the second of three games between the two teams this season. The Pacers won the first meeting in Miami, 110-102 so Indiana can lock up the tie breaker with a win tonight. It is never too early to consider playoff considerations, let alone collect tie-breaker advantages over other Eastern Conference teams. Plus, the third and final game is in Miami.
After not playing for four days, the Pacers have jumped up to third place in the East while Miami sits in ninth place while sputtering out of the gate to start the season. Goran Dragic missed the game in Miami, but will be running at the Fieldhouse for the rematch.
The Pacers had plenty of practice time this week and we know they would like to ramp up the pace and spread the wealth offensively. Will we be able to tell? Also, will the playing rotation change at all? Looking forward to seeing how the answers play out.
