Until the ice storm rained down on Indy this morning, it was hard to believe Thanksgiving was already hitting next week. But the early Turkey Day means the Pacers took advantage of their four days off at home this week to host their annual “Come to Our House” Thanksgiving dinner.
Thad Young and Victor Oladipo co-hosted the 21st annual event at the Fieldhouse where they welcomed 800 men, women and children from local shelters for a holiday meal and other activities. The bulk of Pacers Sports & Entertainment staff along with the team pitched in to help serve.
There were also plenty of local media on hand to lend a hand and share some highlights from the event. Here’s a run through some of the social media posts.
