The Pacers are back in action on Monday night for their third preseason game against the Cavaliers in Cleveland.
Both teams have varied their respective playing rotations wildly in the first two outings, including the Pacers resting all of their starters in Memphis on Saturday. Nate McMillan spoke after shoot around and said he expects to play the normal guys over the last two games, roughly 24-30 minutes. So, a more normal rotation should be expected against the Cavs, save for Thad Young still resting a sore foot and reserve guard Cory Joseph resting a bruised knee. The reserve back court rotation could be really thin if Tyreke Evans and Edmond Sumner can’t go. Both are questionable while nursing sprained ankles.
The Cavs rested several veteran players in their second preseason game, but for now it appears only Kevin Love and Jordan Clarkson have been ruled out. Former Pacer and local legend, George Hill played in the Cavs’ first game and appears available to run tonight.
