Pacers vs Grizzlies: Preseason game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Pacers are back in action on Saturday night when they play the Grizzlies in their second preseason game.

NBA: Indiana Pacers at Memphis Grizzlies Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers resume preseason play on Saturday night when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies at FedEx Forum.

Thad Young remains out for the Pacers which will keep TJ Leaf in the starting lineup. Leaf certainly earned the right to maintain that starting spot with his play. This may be a game where Kyle O’Quinn gets more run since he didn’t play in the opener. Nate McMillan kept his playing rotation tight in the opener so spreading out the minutes among more players tonight could make for a much different style of game.

I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing young guys like Ike Anigbogu, Alize Johnson and Aaron Holiday get some run. After the promising play of Leaf and Edmond Sumner against Houston, let’s see what else that group of young players has to offer.

Memphis remains a team run by vets Mike Conley and Marc Gasol. Along with Conley (Lawrence North), the Grizz have some other Indiana ties with rookie Jaren Jackson, Jr. (Park Tudor/La Lumiere) and former Butler star, Shelvin Mack.
