The Pacers return home to face the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Pacers will try to bounce back from a disappointing effort in Milwaukee on Friday night which ended with the first loss of the season. The physical game against the Bucks certainly took a toll on Thad Young who worked all night trying to keep tabs on Giannis Antetokounmpo. Domas Sabonis also ended up on the injury report following the game, listed as questionable for the Nets with a bruised right knee.
Sabonis has been the most consistent player through the first two games and will be blow to the team’s depth if he is unable to go.
The Nets are a dangerous squad who tested the Pacers several times last season with some young firepower. A year older, the Nets arrive 1-1 but also struggling with depth issues with several players on the injury report.
Both teams will be playing on a back-to-back, as the Nets beat the Knicks 107-105 in Brooklyn last night.
