The Bucks posted a 122-101 over the Pacers last Wednesday, exploiting their unique matchup advantage over the Pacers which amounts to Giannis Antetokounmpo drawing excess attention and still being a handful. Of course, the Pacers were at a further matchup disadvantage without Victor Oladipo who returned on Saturday to lead the Pacers past the Bulls with ease.
The Pacers will be wearing their white Hickory Pacers uniforms as the team honors John Wooden as Indiana's first professional basketball player. Yeah, Wooden did some other stuff in basketball but I enjoyed the story from Mark Montieth on the early days of pro hoops in Indiana.
Bojan Boddanovic (sprained left ankle) remains questionable for the Pacers. After his release, Damien Wilkins won't be able to fill in as a starter which may force Nate McMillan to go with Lance Stephenson. McMillan wanted to keep Lance and Corey Joseph coming off the bench after Oladipo's return, so he could get created if need be and start Alex Poythress or T.J. Leaf to keep the rest of the rotation the same. Hopefully, Bogey gets the green light and the Pacers can play the Bucks at full strength.
