The Pacers face another tough matchup on the road when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
The Pacers are enduring a brutal four-game losing streak in which three of the losses were never in doubt. Victor Oladipo (sore knee) missed the last three losses and will not be available again in Milwaukee. The ripple effect of VO's absence has been felt with Lance Stephenson starting and not providing a boost off the bench. As CC pointed out today, the starting lineup is not clicking with Lance so both the starters and bench are botched up.
Will Nate McMillan adjust the lineup while waiting for Vic? Doubtful. Trying Corey Joseph wouldn't be a big change but could make a difference. Why not try at this point?
While Milwaukee has hopped ahead of the Pacers in the standings, they are having trouble getting any real momentum going thus far this season, playing at a .500 clip over their last 14 games. As always, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the wild card matchup that makes the Bucks so dangerous each time they take the floor.
Will the Pacers have a player or two step up to stop the streak? Myles Turner, Lance, Thad Young, Sabonis, someone, anyone? It is time.
