Hornets vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Pacers play the first of two games this week against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night.

The Pacers host the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night in the first of four games between the teams this season.

The season series is a bit strange this year since the teams will meet again in Charlotte on Friday. Then both teams wrap up the regular season with a home-and-home for their final two games. The Hornets have been up and down but remain a challenging matchup with Kemba Walker and/or Dwight Howard making a winning difference from night-to-night.

Still, the Hornets have had a disappointing season after going 9-20 through Novebmer and December. Things have improved in January as they arrive at the Fieldhouse at 7-5 for the month. Former Washington/IU star, Cody Zeller hasn't played for the Hornets since Dec. 6 after having arthroscopic knee surgery on his left knee.

The Pacers will likely keep Myles Turner coming off the bench as he works his game back into shape. Dwight Howard has posed problems for Turner in the past so letting Domas Sabonis take the brunt of the banging against the big fella would be wise.
