The Pacers caught a lethal case of the clanks against the Blazers as the faded in the fourth quarter, a rare but not unique problem in losses this season. Fortunately, at this point in the season, there's always another a game and shooters will keep shooting. Finding the bottom of the net at Staples Center is an obvious solution to what ailed the Pacers in Portland.
The Pacers remain short-handed without Myles Turner but find the Lakers in a similar state without Lonzo Ball (sore knee) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Achilles). Rookie Kyle Kuzma (sprained finger) is also questionable. L.A. has been a little streaky to say the least. Prior to losing their last two games, the Lakers won four consecutive which followed a nine-game losing streak. With Kuzma in the mix, the Lakers will present a problem with their big and active front court, a combination that hurt the Pacers last night in Portland.
The Pacers will be sporting their Hickory Pacers uniforms so that should help them get back to the basics and make winning plays.
