The Indiana Pacers hold their first pre-draft workout at the Fieldhouse on Monday, with six players matching up to put their skills on display.
Among six players expected at BLF will be Caleb Swanigan from Purdue and Fort Wayne who has yet to finalize his decision to forego his junior season at Purdue and remain in the draft. After an impressive sophomore season in which Swanigan averaged 18.5 points and 12.5 rebounds, it is assumed he won't be able to improve his draft stock by returning to Purdue. But it appears Swaningan is going through the process which started in full last week at the NBA Combine and now continues with team workouts.
Normally, the workout includes three-on-three action so the players are selected as pairs to go at each other. So, Swanigan and Bell will battle down low with Iwundu and Hart matching up as wing players. White and Morris will show their point guard skills against each other.
The Pacers have the 18th and 47th picks in the two-round draft so players brought in could fall in the range of either pick.
