The Pacers complete their season series with the Bucks on Thursday night trying to figure out a way to win after taking double-digit losses in the first three matchups.
A quick look at the standings reveals how vital this game is for the Pacers as they sit outside the top eight teams in the East, trying to pick up a game on Miami and Chicago since both have the tie breaker.
The Pacers have so much positive mojo rolling after their Lance-infused comeback win over Toronto on Tuesday, that it’s hard not to expect a let down. That’s simply how this squad rolls. But Paul George can make the difference since he’s playing at a monster level, averaging 33 points in his last five games.
Milwaukee’s youth and length has been too much for the Pacers, but Indiana should be well aware of how the Bucks will use that length to switch and trap all over the floor. Minimize the turnovers and stay on the attack, then the Pacers should be able to break through against the Bucks.
If not, Giannis Antetokounmpo is in transition and that’s not good for anyone.
Al Jefferson is questionable and Glenn Robinson III is out for the Pacers. John Henson and Malcolm Brogdon are out for the Bucks.
