After another frustrating loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 on Monday, Paul George answered a couple of questions directly asking his opinion on Lance Stephenson and Myles Turner.

As he often does, PG considered the question and gave a thorough answer which meandered through TMI territory, yet nothing he wouldn’t say directly to either player. While PG thought he was defending Turner, others claimed he threw him under the bus.

He described Lance Stephenson as a leader on the team which surprised some since Lance is considered a bit of a wild card and has only been with the team for a couple of weeks. But in PG-ese, those comments meant the energy and edge Stephenson has brought to the locker room has made an impact. Really, nothing much more than that.

So after the team had no official practice nor media responsibilities on Tuesday, PG was asked about the reaction after the team’s practice on Wednesday. He quickly shook off all of the speculation about the intent of his comments on both the team and his future with the Pacers, describing the reaction as “complete ignorance.”

Here’s what PG had to say from the Fieldhouse.
