The Pacers wrap up their season series with the Pistons on Wednesday night in what will be a key matchup between two Eastern Conference playoff contenders.
Beating a team four times in one season is never easy, but the Pacers have an opportunity to sweep the Pistons with a win. In the prior three meetings, the Pacers won by 15, 5 and 21 points, with the first two wins at Detroit and a 105-84 win at the Fieldhouse in early February.
Paul George averaged just over 26 points in the first three games and will need to be a factor again as he returns to the Fieldhouse after back-to-back 30-plus-point games in his last two outings.
Like the Pacers, the Pistons didn’t make a move at the trade deadline but have been putting up better results of late, winning three of their last four and ten of their last 15 games.
After a couple of TNT games recently, the Pacers are back on national TV again, this time on ESPN which is why the tip time is at 8 p.m. ET.
