Pacers vs. Hawks: Game thread, lineups, odds, TV info and more

After a couple of days at home to practice, the Pacers are back on the road for a Sunday early tip in Atlanta.

NBA: Atlanta Hawks at Indiana Pacers Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers make their only regular-season visit to Atlanta on Sunday for a matinee at Philips Arena, tipping off at 1 p.m. ET.

The Pacers are coming off of two solid efforts in Texas which had them leaving San Antonio frustrated with a 1-1 record against the Rockets and Spurs. With a few days off, the Pacers returned to Indy for practice on Friday and Saturday which should help their readiness to face the Hawks.

Atlanta won the first meeting in Indy, as they forced a heaping helping of Dwight Howard down the Pacers throat. Howard attacked Myles Turner from the outset and finished with 23 points and 21 rebounds.

The game will mark the first return to Atlanta for Pacers point guard Jeff Teague who played his first seven NBA seasons with the Hawks.

Like the Pacers, the Hawks have had a challenging schedule of late, dropping four of their last six, including a wild 135-130 loss to Cleveland on Friday. In that game, coach Mike Budenholzer bumped a ref while arguing and has been suspended for the game against the Pacers. If only, Paul Millsap had done the bumping.
