The Pacers appeared beat down after letting a win slip away against Minnesota on Tuesday night. Now on Wednesday night in Memphis, the roster and vibe on the team has been given a jolt of energy, if not reality.
Gone is the injured Rodney Stuckey and soon to replace him is Lance Stephenson. Paul George was frustrated with the lack of passion in the locker room following the loss. Well, passion is on the way. But on Wednesday, the regular roster has to dig in for a tough matchup against the Grizzlies.
A month ago, the Pacers used a strong fourth-quarter finish to beat the Grizz, 102-92 at the Fieldhouse. This time around Memphis will be without Marc Gasol (foot) who has missed the last two games. The Grizzlies have lost their last four games, but Memphis remains locked into the seventh spot in the Western Conference playoff race.
