The Fort Wayne Mad Ants needed a boost to move into playoff contention and former Pacers forward Tyler Hansbrough has delivered after joining the team for their past ten games.

On Tuesday, Hansbrough scored 18 points and grabbed 23 rebounds as the Mad Ants beat Greensboro, 101-95. Also of note, potential stretch-four prospect, Ben Bentil knocked down three of five three-pointers against Greensboro, finishing with 11 points and three rebounds in 20 minutes. Fort Wayne can clinch a playoff berth with two wins in their final four games.

In his ten games with the Mad Ants, Hansbrough is averaging 15.1 points and 12.4 while shooting 51.4% from the floor. The struggle Hans will have getting back to the NBA is what makes Bentil an intriguing prospect, the ability to step out behind the arc and knock down shots. But Hansbrough does bring the dirty work which doesn’t go out of style and as you can see from the highlights below, his below the rim game remains similar to what we remember in Indy.
