The Pacers will try to match a season-best fifth consecutive win on Friday night when they visit the Nets at Barclays Center.
The Pacers already logged a regrettable loss in Brooklyn early in the season, but as they return in the midst of a strong stretch of play, while looking to keep pace among the better playoff contenders in the East, they are favored to bring home another win.
Of course, those odds also consider the Nets current stretch of poor play having lost seven consecutive games with just one win in their last 19 games. Oof. No time for the Pacers to exhale.’
The Pacers looked good with Rodney Stuckey in a reserve role against Orlando but a sprained ankle in the fourth quarter put a damper on Stuck’s return and will now have him out once again on Friday.
