According to a report from ESPN, the Indiana Pacers are reportedly interested in trading for Philadelphia 76ers’ big Jahlil Okafor

The NBA trade deadline is this Thursday at 3 p.m. ET. With the deadline quickly approaching, many teams find themselves at the center of much speculation and rumors surrounding any potential trades. The Indiana Pacers appear to be in that boat, as well.

According to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne, the Pacers are showing potential interest in trading for Philadelphia 76ers’ big-man Jahlil Okafor. Shelburne states that other ESPN employees such as Jeff Goodman and Chris Haynes have heard similar talks of Indiana being interested in pursuing Okafor, but no further information has been provided at this time.

Okafor — the 3rd overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft — is averaging 15 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks through 91 games with the Sixers. Given the breakout campaign from Joel Embiid, and Nerlens Noel still remaining on the roster, and it comes as no surprise as to why Philadelphia may be looking to cut down on their loaded front-court.

Be sure to follow along with the developing story as we continue with updates and trade rumors surrounding the Pacers.
