Timberwolves vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Pacers try to close out the calendar year with a in to halt their current three-game losing streak when they host the TImberwolves at BLF.

Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers host the Minnesota Timberwolves for a New Year's Eve special at BLF with a 5 p.m. ET tip time to get your evening festivities started.

The Pacers need something to celebrate after dropping their last three games and a win over the T'Wolves would work just fine. Minnesota has established themselves as a sold playoff contender in the Western Conference with a talented mix of young and veteran players working well together.

Former Pacers and Pike guard, Jeff Teague has been running the point in Minny but will miss his return to the Fieldhouse due to a sprained left MCL which will keep him sidelined at least two weeks. That will bump another former Pacer, Aaron Brooks into the playing rotation as a reserve guard behind Tyus Jones.

The Pacers don't plan on having Victor Oladipo (sore knee) for the third consecutive game. Oladipo score 28 points when the Pacers hung a 130-107 L on the T'Wolves in Minny earlier in the season in what was the first sign the Pacers may be better than expected. Now the Pacers find the T'Wolves playing far better while the blue and gold are enduring a strong case of adversity to close out the calendar year.
