Bojan Bogdanovic makes an ill-advised pass to blow the Pacers’ 19-point comeback against the Celtics. Terry Rozier was the beneficiary of Bogdanovic’s mistake, stealing the ball and dunking in the game-winner with 1.6 seconds left to give Boston a 112-111 win.

The Pacers trailed for 47 minutes of the game after Boston opened on a 12-0 run and made their first 10 shots. Boston had a huge 38-21 lead after the first quarter.

The second quarter didn’t go much better for the Pacers but they managed to slightly cut into the Celtics lead. Kyrie Irving led all Celtics scorers with 30 points, including 14 in the first half.

By the end of the third, the Pacers trailed by only seven points, but their real run started in the fourth quarter. This was kickstarted by Damontas Sabonis (who finished with 18 points and seven rebounds), who nailed a jumper to cut the deficit to three points. Victor Oladipo used that momentum to go on a run.

Oladipo scored 10 straight points for Indiana, including giving Indiana its first lead at 105-102. He finished the game with 38 points. The Pacers then managed to hold as high as a four-point lead before Irving and Marcus Smart cut the lead to just one.

With under 10 seconds left the Pacers had an out-of-bounds and it looked like they were going to have a chance to extend their lead. However, they turned it over after a bad pass by Bojanovic leading to a Rozier dunk and a stunning 112-111 loss.

The Pacers will return to the court on Wednesday, Dec. 20, hopefully, well-rested and ready for a win against the Hawks.
