The Pacers return to home on Monday night for the last half of a back-to-back when they host Boston Celtics for the second time this season.
In the first meeting in late November, the Celtics showed off their ability to grind and execute when they blitzed the Pacers in the third quarter to erase a nine-point halftime deficit and go on to a 108-98 win. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for the Pacers, but looking back at the promising first half effort in that game, the Pacers should have something positive to lean on before the tip on Monday, especially considering Victor Oladipo missed the least game with a sore knee.
On the other hand, the C's earned the W without emerging star, Jaylen Brown in the lineup. Boston has alternated between wins and losses over their last six games, so since the won their last game at Memphis on Saturday, here's to hoping that trend continues and/or Kyrie Irving has an off night. In the last meeting, Kyrie led the way with 25 points and six assists.
