The Pacers hit the road for the first of two game in Florida starting in Miami where they will play the Heat on Sunday evening.
After an emotional second-half comeback to beat the Pistons on Friday, the Pacers packed some positive momentum with them for the two-day roadie. Flipping the Pistons game into a W, gave the Pacers consecutive wins and three wins in their last four games.
Any hopes of landing a playoff spot in the East will require beating teams like the Heat, and Magic for that matter, all part of the seven or eight team group in the middle of the East that will likely produce three playoff teams.
The Pacers lost to the Heat 112-108 in their third game of the season with Myles Turner and Hassan Whiteside on the sidelines. The Pacers rallied late but came short although displayed the type of fight that is making this group quite popular in Indy.
As for the Heat, they are a half game behind the Pacers at 7-8 and simply been up and down, although made it through a six-game road trip at 3-3.
