On Monday, the NBA announced that Victor Oladipo was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for his big performances during the Pacers 2-1 week.

Oladipo averaged 28.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in wins over San Antonio and Minnesota and a loss at Oklahoma city. During that loss to his former team, Oladipo made his presence felt with 35 points. The big scoring night ranked fourth on Vic’s career scoring list with 45 points remaining his career high.

The last shot Oladipo took for the week, surely helped solidify the league honor as he knocked out the Spurs with big three-ball on Sunday evening. Paul George earned the same honor in early April last season.

DeMarcus Cousins earned the same honor for the Western Conference after averaging 36.3 points and 16 rebounds for the Pelicans..
