The Pacers television schedule was announced on Thursday with plans to televise all 82 regular-season games and two preseason games for the 2016-17 season.
FOX Sports Indiana will broadcast 80 of those games, including the two home preseason games. Well, kinda home. The first game next Thursday, Oct. 6 against the Chicago Bulls is at the Fieldhouse with the normal 7 p.m. ET tip time. The second "home" game will be in Evansville against the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 p.m. ET. Fortunately, Chris Denari, Quinn Buckner and Jeremiah Johnson will make the trek to Evansville so we can watch. Although, I must say, once you get past Bloomington, that new stretch of I-69 makes the drive to Evansville real nice.
FSI will show the bulk of the regular season games including the opener at home against the Dallas Mavericks on Oct. 26.
The four games not shown on FSI are scheduled to be televised nationally on TNT. Those games include home games against the Boston Celtics on Dec. 22, New York Knicks on Jan. 23 and San Antonio Spurs on Feb. 13. A road game at the Charlotte Hornets on Mar. 6 is also on TNT. All of the TNT games tip at 8 p.m. ET.
All FSI broadcasts will also be streamed live on FOX Sports GO, which is available to customers of participating pay-TV providers. FOX Sports GO is currently available for iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Chromecast, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Roku players and Roku TV, select Windows devices, Xbox One and online at FOXSportsGO.com. Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Amazon App Store and Windows Store.
