Orlando Pro Summer League Game Thread: Pacers vs. Magic Blue

New, comments

The Summer Pacers complete play in Orlando on Friday afternoon against one of two Magic teams.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Championship Day at the Orlando Pro Summer League will finish with the Pacers playing the Magic Blue at 2 p.m. ET on NBA TV and ESPN3 or the WatchESPN app.

The Pacers finished the week in seventh place with a 1-3 record among the 10 teams playing in Orlando. The week will finish as it started with a rematch against the Magic Blue. The Pacers sole win came on Saturday when they opened play against the Magic with big games from Joe  Young and Georges Niang.

Young was shaken up after a hard fall in that game and hasn't been nearly as effective the rest of the week. Niang has continued to show a promising game, but also some defensive issues which are part of the reason he was available late in the second round of the draft.

The Magic will lean on Nick Johnson, Devyn Marble and Steven Zimmerman. Yay, Summer League!

The 2 p.m. tip will follow the Championship Game that tips off at noon ET between the Magic White and Pistons.
