Team USA resumes exhibition play in Chicago on Friday night when they face Venezuela at the United Center.

The game tips off at 9 p.m. ET on NBA TV and Facebook live.

After handling Argentina and China with ease in their first three games, a similar result is expected against Venezuela.

If you are looking for drama, the status of Paul George for the game is the best we can do. After sitting out the second half of Team USA’s win over China in Oakland with a strained left calf, both the team and PG downplayed the concern, consider the rest a cautious measure with the focus on the Olympic games next week.

As of Friday afternoon, PG considered himself 50-50 to play in the game against Venezuela.

As for the opponent on Friday, Venezuela took a hit when Brooklyn Nets guard Greivis Vasquez pulled out of the game and the Olympics altogether looking for more rest after surgery for a bone spur last January.
