What looked like an extended post-season run in the third quarter of Game 5, quickly turned into sudden death situation after the Pacers let a double-digit lead slide away in Toronto. Once again, it is impossible to have any confidence that the Pacers will come up big at home in Game 6, which is usually when they are at their best, so yeah, these are your 2015-16 Pacers.
Paul George has been such a post-season star it has become unfair to expect another huge two-way performance out of him. That's just the way it is, though. Between games, PG was imploring everyone on his roster to give their best in Game 6, something that would surely be enough to push the Pacers to another win. The sad part is he had to search for those motivational buttons to push.
Motivation shouldn't be a problem for the Raps. They saw their 2015-16 season flash before their eyes in Game 5 and the sudden revival has to give them a feeling that this is their year to get over the hump.
