A pair of last-second Paul George free throws was just enough to lift the Pacers to victory, defeating the Washington Wizards by a score of 100-99.

Time and time again have the Pacers lost close games in the final minutes this season. Thankfully, this wasn't the case tonight in Washington. George lead all scorers with 38 points. Monta Elis added on an additional 17 points for Indiana.

The Wizards had five players score in double-figures. John Wall scored 25 points, as well as having 12 assists and 6 rebounds followed by 14 points from Markieff Morris.

Washington appeared to be in the driver's seat for the majority of the game, leading Indiana 64-56 at the half. It was from here where the Pacers would pick things up and eventually get the win thanks to the late-game heroics of Paul George.

"It's about time I get one to go down for us, or get a play going to the rim," George said.

The victory gives the Pacers a record of 33-30 and the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, the Wizards sit at a disappointing 30-32 record and 10th-place in the East.

The Pacers travel back to Indiana next Monday to take on the San Antonio Spurs. Washington will head to Portland this coming Tuesday, to which they will take on the Trail Blazers as they try and get things on the right track.
