We'll get to the playoffs, but first, all Pacers fans need to read this story from Bob Kravitz which shares a love story about two Pacers fans from Australia facing a battle with cancer and getting a big boost from Jordan Hill.
Now that you've had a healthy dose of perspective, it's safe to hit on the Pacers' effort to make the playoffs which has been a bumpy road that has them teetering in the eighth spot, two games ahead of Chicago.
The Pacers have the Magic, Sixers and Knicks in their next three games so despite the nasty loss to the Bulls, the Pacers remain in position to make a post-season push, along with controlling their own destiny. That last part may sound scary with this crew, but getting in the playoffs puts the Pacers in underdog mode which, oddly is how they tend to play their best.
On The Phill Naessens show, I discussed the playoff situation and the frustrating struggles that have held the Pacers back late in games. We also pondered if more Ty Lawson may help, to see if he can create better scoring opportunities (how could they be worse) when the Pacers need a bucket. Check it out!
