Lakers vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

New, comments

Kobe Bryant takes the court at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for the last time in his career when the Lakers make their annual visit to play the Pacers.

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers face the bumbling Lakers in Kobe Bryant's final appearance at Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday night.

Wow, that sentence looks odd.

But true, as Kobe closes up shop on one of the worst teams in the NBA, the pain apparently masked by the celebration of Kobe's accomplishments which included going through the Pacers to win one of his NBA championships in the 2000 NBA Finals.

Kobe's last game will also be Roy Hibbert's first game back at the Fieldhouse in an opposing uniform. Both players are questionable to play which shouldn't impact the outcome. The Pacers are not content to lose this year and feel like they are about make a surge in the win column. That optimism includes taking care of business against Kobe and Co.
