The Pacers are 2-0 against the Hawks so far this season, winning both games on their home court at the Fieldhouse. On Friday, the Pacers play the first of two remaining games against the Hawks at Philips Arena, a venue that has been a house of horrors in recent years for the Blue and Gold.
In desperate need of a win last week, the Pacers put up a strong effort to beat the Hawks 111-92, blowing open a tight game by closing the fourth quarter on a 23-2 run. Monta Ellis and George Hill combined for 43 points, leading the final flourish to seal the deal.
The Hawks were struggling when they arrived and left Indy, but enter the game tonight as winners of their last two games.
The Pacers will be without Rodney Stuckey and Ian Mahinmi while the Hawks will be missing Tiago Splitter.
