The Pacers and Magic meet for the third time this season with the good guys holding a 2-0 advantage in the four-game season series.
In the last game at Orlando on Jan. 6, the Pacers blew open a sluggish, low scoring game in the second half with a 58-point effort to run past the Magic. Paul George (20) and Monta Ellis (19) combined for 39 points to lead the Pacers. Of course, this was also before Myles Turner was inserted into the starting lineup, so there has been change on the Pacers side of the equation.
Orlando has had far more drastic change after an active trade deadline. Two starters from the last game, Tobias Harris and Channing Frye are no longer on the roster. The Magic did not trade for replacement starters, but did bolster their backcourt by adding Brandon Jennings. The moves freed up space in the starting lineup for second-year dunk machine, Aaron Gordon whose play has improved as the year has progressed.
