After an uninspired effort and too late flourish led the Pacers to a 90-85 loss in Chicago, Nate McMillan and Paul George were left crying foul. Venting their frustrations may cost them some cash, but it will be worth it if they raise awareness among the officials going forward.
Of course, PG can do more to be assertive on offense and earn more trips to the line, but what else can Nate McMillan do to push his team’s buttons?
The Pacers coach took plenty of criticism after the loss including a call for McMillan’s firing. But things are rarely as bad as the last loss feels and some improved health along with a much improve schedule through January provide an opportunity for the Pacers to move back in the right direction.
