The Pacers returned to work on Monday at the Fieldhouse preparing to take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday. Following practice, Nate McMillan spoke about his team needing to play with a sense of urgency.
In fact, he mentioned sense of urgency several times which makes you wonder how many times he said it to his team. He didn’t feel any sense of urgency to change what Jeff Teague has been doing, but Teague is fully aware he needs to improve his play.
He discussed his effort to deal with all of the change he’s experiencing on a new team with a lot of new players playing in a different style than he was used to in Atlanta, with Nate Taylor from the Indy Star.
Also, Aaron Brooks is questionable to play against the Lakers but sounds like he is close to returning if he can avoid any setbacks prior to tip time. Rodney Stuckey had an MRI and is ruled out pending results.
