The Pacers and Bulls renew their Central Division rivalry in preseason form on Thursday when the play the first of two consecutive practice games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
After a quality effort in New Orleans on Tuesday, the Pacers will face a new-look Bulls team with plenty of experience. Gone are Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol and Joakim Noah and in their place, Rajon Rondo, Dwyane Wade and Robin Lopez.
Health will always be a lingering issue for the Bulls, but when Rondo and Wade are on the court along with Jimmy Butler, Chicago will present a challenge.
The Pacers expect follow a similar script to the one used in New Orleans with the starters playing most of the first and third quarters with the reserves handling the second and fourth. Kevin Seraphin will start at center to keep Al Jefferson in his reserve center role.
The Pacers will be without Myles Turner (concussion), Aaron Brooks (hip) and Jeremy Evans (shoulder).
