Looking back on the Pacers off day for episode 5 of Locked on Pacers, we learn that training camp continues full throttle for the Pacers as they went through a full practice at the Fieldhouse despite the game in New Orleans on Tuesday and the upcoming game tonight against the Bulls.
Preseason games are not the priority compared to preparing for the regular season. Paul George spoke after practice and said he understands what McMillan is doing and the team is committed to following his lead.
Similar situations around the league are certainly a factor in some of the large margins of victory on the second and third preseason game for teams if you go back and look at the past couple of days.
We’ll see how the Pacers fight through fatigue against the Bulls tonight.
