Mavericks vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Pacers open the season at home against the Mavericks.

NBA: Indiana Pacers at Dallas Mavericks Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers start the season at home when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.

After shootaround, Nate McMillan confirmed that all players are available for the opener. Aaron Brooks and C.J. Miles may play limited minutes but just having everyone ready for the opener is a nice way to start the season.

For the Mavs, reserve guard J.J. Barea is listed as questionable but is expected to play, leaving the Mavs with Barea and Seth Curry as the backup backcourt with Devin Harris out.

Of bigger concern for the Pacers are the veteran front court players for the Mavs. Dirk Nowitzki and Andrew Bogut don’t have any regular season miles on them yet, so Myles Turner and Thad Young will have to keep them moving. Beware the Dirk leg kick!
