The Pacers continue to prepare for their regular season to begin on Wednesday night at the Fieldhouse, but the team made some news with a minor player move on Monday afternoon.

We discuss the sign and waive move that will eventually add forward Ben Bentil to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Also, ratings for the two preseason telecasts on FOX Sports Indiana were the highest since 2005, and up 75 percent from last year. That seems to indicate strong interest in the new faces and fast-paced style of play the Pacers are trying to implement. Of course, the 2005 preseason was also intriguing since it was the start of the season following a certain season that was laid to waste by a certain event north of the state border.

Pacers games will once again be streamed on FOX Sports GO app. The look of the app has changed since last season and streaming on FOX Sports GO is now available to Dish Network subscribers along with other major cable and satellite providers.

Chris Denari and Quinn Buckner will call games along with sideline reporter, Jeremiah Johnson. Former Pacer Eddie Gill joins FOX Sports Indiana this as a pregame/postgame analyst on home games, filling the role formerly held by new Vanderbilt women’s coach, Stephanie White.

Finally, we hit on some players who found their way onto NBA rosters, including Lance Stephenson and Metta World Peace. The league is always better with those to in the mix and on another team.
