The Pacers are back in preseason action on Friday night when they visit the Orlando Magic and their new head coach, Frank Vogel.

True to form, Vogel is taking the high road as he looks forward to seeing his former team, as he states in this article from Josh Robbins.

Vogel went on to mention how hard it was to not re-sign with the Pacers because of his family and the ties they developed in Central Indiana. I’m sure he is happy to get this initial reunion out of the way in the preseason. The Magic visit the Fieldhouse for the first time on Nov. 14.

As for Vogel’s team, they have a bounty of size after adding Serge Ibaka, Bismack Biyombo and Jeff Green to the front court with Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon. They also have a trio of former Pacers in D.J. Augustin, C.J. Watson and Damo Rudez.

The Pacers will have their full starting lineup available for the first time in preseason. C.J. Miles (knee) and Aaron Brooks (knee) are not expected to play.
