Pacers Podcast: On to Orlando, rotation numbers and begging for better box scores

Preseason game five is a topic on the latest episode of Locked on Pacers along with online box score frustrations.

NBA: Preseason-Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers James Brosher-USA TODAY Sports

On episode 11 of Locked on Pacers we catch up with the Pacers as they move from Evansville to Orlando while prepping to play the Magic on Friday night.

Of course, that creates a matchup with former coach Frank Vogel but the Pacers are still just focused on themselves and doing the right things as a group to prepare for the regular season.

For the first time, the Pacers expect to have their full starting lineup available to play together and Nate McMillan expects to play it close to a regular season game. C.J. Miles will still be out so Glenn Robinson III will play the reserve wing role.

Will they play a 9-man or 10-man rotation? We continue to discuss that topic as McMillan indicated Lavoy Allen may make it easier to use 10 players if he continues to play well. Of course, there are other factors that will impact the playing rotation from game to game.

Also, I share my frustrations with the evolution (in the wrong direction) of online box scores. The people developing and approving these things certainly can’t be using them during a game. Ugh!!!

Finally, I mention Conrad Brunner’s article about Monta Ellis so here is a link for easy perusal.
