The Pacers return to action on the road in New Orleans on Friday when they face Anthony Davis, Eric Gordon and the Pelicans.
With a day off following a win in Orlando, the Pacers should be in a winning mood with no one listed on the injury report. The Pacers will start big against the 'Cans which is good for a chuckle since the attempt to start small in preseason with Paul George guarding Anthony Davis, altered all of Frank Vogel's plans for the spread lineup after PG balked vehemently following the game.
You good with Alonzo Gee, PG? We'll see.
The Pelicans started slow working through injuries but with players returning to health have become more dangerous, even if the record doesn't show it. The Pelicans are 5-5 in their last 10 which is actually an improvement. Former North Central/IU star Eric Gordon has been a fixture at shooting guard and not one of the injury issues (Yay!) EJ has played in all 34 games for New Orleans and is averaging over 15 points per game.
