The Pacers play the Miami Heat for the third time this season on Monday night as they embark on a road trip that will take them west around the Gulf Coast via Orlando, New Orleans and finally Houston over the next seven days.
The Pacers won the first two games against the Heat, both played at the Fieldhouse, while leaning on defense. The Pacers held Miami under 90 points to earn both Ws. Taking that type of defense on the road will be critical for the Pacers to succeed in Miami.
The Heat won their past two games but must face the Pacers in their third game in four days and on the back half of a back-to-back after beating the Washington Wizards on Sunday.
George Hill has been sick and is questionable to start for the Pacers. If GHill can't go, expect C.J. Miles to start at shooting guard and the Pacers go with a big lineup regardless.
