The Indiana Pacers snapped their three game losing streak, finishing off the Atlanta Hawks late. The Hawks erased an 11-point Indiana lead on a 15-2 run, but the Pacers would respond with a 23-2 run of their own to close out the win. The Pacers were led by Monta Ellis, who had 25, including nine in Indiana's game winning run.
Myles Turner made his first NBA start, scoring 20 points, giving the Pacers a big boost in the first half with Paul George in foul trouble. George Hill scored 18 on 7-9 shooting with eight rebounds. Indiana's bench gave the Pacers a second quarter lead, led by C.J. Miles, who had nine on 4-9 shooting. Jordan Hill scored eight and Lavoy Allen had four points and 12 rebounds.
