The Pacers caught the Clippers struggling and playing without Chris Paul on their first West Coast trip. The Pacers took advantage with an impressive 103-91 win, but since that game in early December, the Blue and Gold have struggled going 11-16.
CP3 will be running the show when the Clippers play the Pacers at the Fieldhouse on Tuesday night but Blake Griffin will be out. The Clips' dynamic big man was closing in on returning from a quad injury, but a fight with a team employee in Toronto left Griffin out indefinitely with a broken hand.
Griffin has missd the last 16 games which hasn't hurt the Clippers too badly considering they won their first nine games after he was hurt. The team has only won two of their last five, however and had to deal with the turmoil of the internal fight going public.
Meanwhile, the Pacers are just trying to find a way to win a game as they put on the Hickory Pacers unis to tip off a four-game homestand. Rodney Stuckey is out while Ian Mahinmi will be a game-time decision after going through the team's shootaround.
