George Hill is set to return to action with the Pacers after a tumultuous yet personally exciting week that forced him to miss practice and the last two games.
According to Hill's latest Instagram post, long-time girlfriend, Samantha Garcia and Hill were blessed with the arrival of son, Zayden Jaxon Hill this past Saturday, Jan. 16. The baby arrived a couple of weeks early which explains why there was no mention for a few days.

So, yeah, sometimes personal reasons are actually personal. It seemed like goofy speculation was sprouting up the longer GHill was out, but now that can be put to rest.
While we sometimes treat the Pacers wins and losses as a matter of life and death, Hill was literally dealing with life and death over the past couple of weeks. He had Instagram posts paying tribute to the loss of both his grandmother and one of his best friends. Then to have the experience of welcoming a baby boy to the world earlier than expected and the issues that can present which Hill alludes to, had to make for an emotional week for the Pacers point guard.
Talk about gaining perspective.
Now with good news to report, Hill is ready to to return to work with the Pacers. According to Candace Buckner, Hill will finish out the road trip and play with the Pacers for their game in Sacramento on Saturday.
