Wizards vs. Pacers: Game thread, lineups, TV info and more

The Paces and Wizards lit up the scoreboard the last time the two teams played, but injury concerns for both teams will impact the end result when the teams meet at the Fieldhouse on Friday night.

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

The Pacers and Wizards meet for the second time this season on Friday in their only matchup at the Fieldhouse.

In the first game at Washington, the Pacers had one of their better offensive evenings which makes you wonder even more about their recent struggles to get buckets to win games. In that game, Paul George (40) and C.J. Miles (32) combined for 72 points, making 15 of 17 three-pointers!

Can you imagine? In the last three games, PG and C.J. are 13 for 48 from behind the arc.

Attrition may be the biggest factor, though with the Pacers missing Rodney Stuckey as he rests his injured foot. George Hill missed the morning shootaround fro personal reasons and is now questionable. If GHill doesn't play, I would assume Frank Vogel's plan to start the spread lineup would change.

The Wiz are in much worse shape. Marcin Gortat (knee) and Kris Humphries (knee) didn't make the trip. Otto Porter (hip) was ruled out at the shootaround. Bradley Beal (leg) is working his way back into shape and will play against the Pacers but sit out the Wiz game against Boston on Saturday.

Despite the injuries, the Wizards have won three in a row behind the play of John Wall and Nene. The Pacers George Hill has been great against Wall in the past, but if he is a scratch the Pacers will have an even tougher time putting away the W which has been a general issue of late regardless.
