The Pacers have a chance to complete successful four-game road trip if they can take care of business on Sunday evening when they face the Houston Rockets.
The Pacers have won their last two on the road, but the poor level of play in New Orleans gave Frank Vogel as much motivation to make his team work as if they had lost. Win or lose, 24 turnover will usually put a coach in a salty mood, so there is no doubt issues were addressed in practice on Saturday. Effort and execution will have to be better against the Rockets who are always a threat to light up a lax defense thanks to James Harden.
While the Pacers have no injury concerns, the Rockets will be down a few players with Ty Lawson (suspension),Donatas Motiejunas back soreness) and Sam Dekker (low back pain) all out. More important is the status of center Dwight Howard who is listed as questionable (lower back tightness).
